fully functional genetic cure for this disease
may take as long as 10 years or more to realize.
Meanwhile, two of these boys die each day as they
wait for that cure. Find-A-Cure is unique in that
as we search for a cure, we are not forgetting
the children who cannot take advantage of the
cure...but could benefit from a treatment.
Treatments, like insulin to a diabetic, will
extend and preserve the quality of life for the
children who are waiting. Find-A-Cure has chosen
to fund treatment research that has a promising
potential and a short leadtime. For the first
time in Duchenne research, your contribution
could be the key that unlocks the door to a
